Red Herrings and Applause Lines
Thursday, the Michigan Attorney General Danna Nessel (Democrat) held a press conference on a very important topic. Unfortunately it is a topic that has become applause lines for those against us and shame and determination to right the issue for those with us. That is, sexual abuse within the Church. Myself, as well as theContinue reading "Red Herrings and Applause Lines"
What is a viable life?
If you pay attention to the news, you've probably heard something about Virginia Governor Ralph Northam's comments about women's health care and abortion. Now, depending on where you watch or read your news, you've probably have heard a staunch defense of Mr. Northam or some form of outrage from his comments. In this article, I want to focus on a few things he said and I want to do so intentionally, without any arguments from emotion, and from a Catholic perspective.

Lowly creatures who lived in a stable, smelled rotten, and were a filthy mess. How could GodContinue reading "And the Soul Felt Its Worth"
The Innkeeper: An Advent Reflection
Knock knock. The sound echoes in your house as you are sitting with your family around a table trying to eat a meal. This is not the first knock at your door today. You sit there, hoping that whoever it was will go away when you don't answer the door. You wait. Knock knock. YouContinue reading "The Innkeeper: An Advent Reflection"
Jesus Christ: King of the Universe
This past Sunday was the feast of Christ the King, and I was talking with some friends of mine about the lack of artwork depicting our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ as such. The best example I can think of is at the Vatican. Lining the top of St. Peter's Square are statues of theContinue reading "Jesus Christ: King of the Universe"
